How do I make 2 dogs friends?
Question:
Hey you animal lovers! Here is my problem: I just moved and I have a Jack Russell Terrier. If you are familiar with this Terrier, you know that this dog WILL NOT back down to ANYTHING! Anyway, there is a neighborhood dog, which is a chow mixed with some other breed??? They hate each other, it has been 2 mos. since I have had him, we are building a fence. Just in case something would happen that this chow would get into our yard, I want to make them friends! The chow is a really sweet dog, but he HATES my little Cheyenne!! HELP!! HOW DO I DO THIS????? Thank ya’ll for the advise, I will try everything that I can!

Ummm, chows are notorious for not being very friendly. (Sorry to anybody who might have a chow.) I would suggest that you not try to get these two dogs to be friends. Build that fence, and do it in a hurry. Some dogs are just not friendly to other dogs. I wouldn’t take the chance if it were me. JMHO. Then you can leave it up to them if they can make friends through the fence.
