I particularly like the ongoing war between Strange and Granny over whether dogs belong in the house.  My whole family has been reading McManus for years, even the stupid cookbook he wrote with his sister, The Troll.  My brother would fax us his columns from "Outdoor Life" and my brother in law is no longer allowed to read McManus in bed because my sister wakes up from the bed shaking from his laughter.
